I’ve had a few requests for me to share “a day in my life.” If you are struggling to find time to workout or prep healthy meals, I always want you to remember to MAKE time. If it’s important enough to you, you will prioritize to make it happen. I hope seeing my routine helps you find your groove!
4:45-4:55 a.m. – alarm goes off, brush teeth, get dressed, grab water bottle
5:15 a.m. – leave for the gym
5:25-6:15 a.m. – workout
6:15 a.m. – take Mia (my sweet pup) out to do her business
6:20 a.m. – shower and get ready for the day
6:45 a.m. – breakfast
6:55 a.m. – leave for work
7:10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. work
5:15 p.m. – get home and take Mia out for a short walk
5:45 p.m. – prep lunch for the next day and make dinner
6:15 p.m. – dinner
7:30 p.m. – dessert
8: 45 p.m. – take Mia out again
8:55 p.m. – lay out workout clothes for the next day, brush teeth, get ready for bed
9:00-9:20 p.m. – lay in bed and play on phone (probably need to stop this habit!)
9:30 p.m. – lights out and bedtime
As you can see, I have this down to a science 🙂 . I have a lot to do early in the morning, so I don’t dilly dally. I don’t spend a lot of time checking my phone or wasting time so that I can get moving.
One of the main reasons I get up early and workout in the morning is so that I can have my nights free. I’m a big homebody, so it’s not that I have lots of activities at night, but I just love being able to leisurely cook dinner, watch some TV, spend time with Stu, or occasionally go out to dinner or happy hour with friends.
