Protein Frosting

Did that title catch your attention?  Good, because it deserves your attention.

Protein.
Frosting.
PROTEIN FROSTING PEOPLE!

It’s a thing, it exists, and it tastes incredible!  You’ll be surprised that two simple ingredients can come together to create such a light, decadent, and whipped texture.  It tastes just like chocolate mousse!

Protein Frosting

  1. Measure 170 g plain, nonfat Greek yogurt into a cereal bowl or small dish.
  2. Add 8 g sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix and stir vigorously until the mixture thickens.
  3. Add 1 packet sweetener of choice
  4. Add desired toppings

I’ve experimented with white chocolate and regular chocolate pudding mix flavors so far and enjoy them both!  I also want to test out the butterscotch flavor 🙂 .  As far as toppings go, check out some of the photos below for ideas.  I love topping mine with Walden Farms chocolate sauce, candy, Oreos, sprinkles, and chocolate chips.  The possibilities are really endless.

I found this recipe from Zach at The Flexible Dieting Lifestyle.  He has some great tips he shares on his Instagram and YouTube pages and I’ve been following him for a while.  Check out his original recipe for protein frosting here.  He even has his own recipe e-book!
